Greenwoods & Freehills makes new appointments to Management Committee

Greenwoods & Freehills welcomes the following Directors to the Management Committee.

Andrew Mills joined Greenwoods & Freehills in 1990, and has over twenty-five years experience in tax, with the last eighteen specialising in the financial services industry in both domestic and international tax contexts. Andrew has been heavily involved in the Tax Reform Process and a number of ATO Commissioner’s groups including the National Tax Liaison Group. Ernest Chang has been a director of Greenwoods & Freehills since 1994. Ernie advises on a wide range of corporate tax matters including leveraged leases, due diligence investigations, foreign source income, corporate restructuring, schemes of arrangement, management buyouts, overseas investment in Australia, employee share acquisition schemes and privatisation. Simon Clark has been a Director of Greenwoods & Freehills since 1995. Simon has nineteen years experience covering all aspects of corporate tax advice. Adrian O’Shannessy joined Greenwoods and Freehills after 9 years as a partner with Freehills in Melbourne (when Greenwoods and Freehills and the Freehills Melbourne tax practice merged). Adrian’s practice involves advising public and multinational companies on all aspects of domestic and international tax planning, with a focus on corporate head office issues such as employee share and dividend reinvestment plans, mergers & acquisitions and structured finance.
